Tank range vw polo 59 reg
I have a 59 reg polo (the previous shape not new shape) and ge around 229 miles to a tank before the red light comes on. I'm currently looking at new polls and see that the tank range is 509 miles ( according to what car). Does this mean they have massively improved the fuel efficiency in the new model, it has a bigger…

Best fuel loyalty card
Hi all. With Mr T only giving 1 point for every 2 pounds on fuel I was wondering if Clubcard is still the best loyalty card? I use points on the exchange scheme, usually for Eurostar or 'Double Up' offers (e.g. got and Iphone and glasses last yr!). Thanks in advance.

Proceed on green light, when green turn arrow not lit?
Driving for almost 15 years and had a complete brain freeze earlier! I was turning from a side road onto a main road (traffic light controlled). Two lanes, one to turn left onto the main road, one to turn right. I was the first car in the right hand lane, waiting to turn right. The lights in front of me had a…

panic buying of petrol.....idiocy, or what?
For all those on here who felt the public at large have behaved in a mindless, stupid manner over the recent Government [mindless, stupid?} announcements regarding fuel. Take a look at the link below....at what Mr Stott, a psychologist [and obvious expert]...has to say about the driving public's behaviour? Far from being…

Why's it cheaper to insure a 5 dr Ford Mondeo to a 5dr Peugeot 307
Both LX models, same year of manufacture, similar mileague, similar value. The Peugeot is a 1.6l whereas the Mondeo is a 1.8l. Surely the smaller vehicle would be cheaper? Yet quotes i've been getting are showing the Mondeo to be the cheaper policy, albeit only by about £30/yr :s

Hi, My work van has had it's cat convertor stolen twice now and my boss is now refusing to replace it. It is illegal to drive without one? Obviously it sounds awful (like a tank) when I drive it and I'm worried that if I get stopped I will get points on my license. Thanks
