I often hear that makes like Renault, Citroen and Fiat etc are terribly made, have bad electrics etc etc. But theres loads sold, so why do people buy them if they are so bad, they cant be can they??

find radio code before needing it?
I need a new battery for my car so of course the radio will be without power for a short while but I don't know the code. Is there any way to find the code from the radio?

Reversing during driving test, or any other time
Ok, It's a long time since I took my test but whats the current expectancy in observation during driving test reversing? What I'm getting at is it permissible for someone to drive as if they where in a van, ie, using mirrors for rear observation, provided they use front and side observation as well? :think::think:

The first rattle........ :(
My 3 week old 500 mile car has developed a rattle when driving over uneven / rough road surfaces - goes from a slight rattle to a drone depending on the type of surface (it's worse on that rough coloured surface used on some bends, etc) :eek: Obviously I'll be booking it in, but I'm not sure how easy these kind of faults…

What is correct, Speedo or sat nav?
I bought myself a sat nav and set it up in my car. Now I know why everyone passes me when I am going along the road at 70 MPH. The speedo shows 70 but the sat nav shows 63. When the speedo shows 80 the sat nav shows 72. Surely my speedo can't be as far out as that?

56 plate Astra..lacquer peeling off side skirt...
Everytime i wash the car its getting worse. Its at the rear end of side skirts and the horizontal bit along the door(where sxi badge is) is peeling aswel. So looks a bit of a rid up! 1995 Astra: water pump noise
