find radio code before needing it?

I need a new battery for my car so of course the radio will be without power for a short while but I don't know the code.

Is there any way to find the code from the radio?

sometimes the codes on a sticker on the radio or if you have a set of jump leads connect them to the terminals before taking them off the old battery.
