At this second I do not have the money for it. I'm selling frantically to try and raise some funds. 22 year old female License…

I have a salutory tale to relate. Trouble is, I am completely clueless. Other than how to drive one, I know absolutely nothing about cars, how to choose one, what…

Car for a new driver
So I am soon going to be taking my driving test and I'm not saying I will be passing first time but it looks promising! Anyway so I was wondering what cars you would advise were good for a first time driver? I am looking at a VW Polo or a Fiat Punto (I'm learning in a Grande Punto and I really like it as a car). My dad…

Can I display a 31/10/2011 tax disc now?
I've bought a new tax disc online and the one I have on display expires 31/10/2010 when we are out of the UK. Can I display the 2012 one now? I thought there would be something inside the letter with it but there isn't. Just the tax disc. The purchase stamped date of 12/10/10 is on it in the middle.

Should I declare this to insurance?
Hi There, A couple of days ago my car was hit by an Asda delivery driver. I was not there, but they left a note with how to get in contact with them... Once I had the information, I started the ball rolling by informing my insurance company. They decided my car was too old to fix and told me it would be a write off. I did…

We are very reluctantly having to get rid of our beloved cmaper van due to the imminent arrival of our third child. However, at the moment it has eight months mot left and a couple…

Basically when I start it in the morning on when I leave work and put it in reverse and once I’ve reversed and go to put it in first the gear stick won’t move and it vibrates as if to show you it doesn’t like…

Cant you see my car? Are you blind?
Sorry about the rant. Parked my car where I usually do. Some lovely man in a white van decided that it would look better with white stripes down the sound and caved in. The driver door is so messed up it wont close properly and rear passenger door isnt much better. I would just like to thank the driver that did this and…

I bought the TLC pack when new and due to very low milage they refused to give a full service, only oil change when it was 2.5 years old, telling me I had to wait til 24000 miles for full service. Its just coming upto 24000 and the TLC pack has expired, now they want 270.00 to service it. Seems steep to me. For various…
