Selling Car taking payment by EFT
Hi, I'm selling a car privately for approx £7k and have a question about how best to take payment. I'm hoping to take payment by EFT, are there any scams here I need to look out for? I may be being overly paranoid, but I was thinking what if the buyer gets a friend to transfer me £7k, I sign the car over to the buyer, then…

Car insurance for myself and young driver
I already have my own car (people carrier) and am insured on that with my own NCD. We are looking at getting our 18yo (she has not passed yet) car insurance but we are looking at the most cost effective way to do it - adding her onto a 2.8v people carrier is not cost effective, nor adding her to Dads car. So we have been…

Hi. I travel to London once or twice a year just for weekend breaks, sight seeing etc. I got Oyster cards for me and the missus last year and think they're great. I'm just trying to top them up on line but the system insists I nominate a station to activate the top up. Is there anyway round this. I just want to put £10 on…

Does my car need servicing?
Excuse my absolute ignorance on this matter - I know little about cars, and drive mine only when absolutely necessary. It was previously kept at my parents' house, and they nicely looked after it whilst it was there! Anyway, it's due its MOT in the next few weeks, so I'm going to book that in but wonder whether I should be…

Naionwide Auto Centre Online - Anybody used?
I'm talking about the online car sales (not the MOT centre) I am thinking of buying a Vauxhall Zafira from this site. They seem good value, make good promises and deliver to the door for £200 deposit. I can pay by credit card with no fee. Has anybody had any experience with this company good or bad please?
