Selling Car taking payment by EFT
Hi,
I'm selling a car privately for approx £7k and have a question about how best to take payment.
I'm hoping to take payment by EFT, are there any scams here I need to look out for? I may be being overly paranoid, but I was thinking what if the buyer gets a friend to transfer me £7k, I sign the car over to the buyer, then the buyers friend tells their bank it was a mistake and they claim the money back... could that happen?
Cheers.

I have sold a car privately twice, one for £13K and one for £10K. On each occasion I asked for cash during banking hours and went to the bank with the purchaser. They had the keys once the money was banked. The buyers were quite happy to do so on both occasions0
