£407 for new aerial??
Hi, My aerial on my BMW 1 series snapped off at the base whilst we were driving along. We've been quoted £407 to have it fixed/replaced at the BWM garage. Has anyone else had to have their full aerial replaced and does it really cost this much or are they having a laugh? Thanks

Fed up of dealership prices - use local garages?
I have a Jaguar X-Type and I'm sick of paying the Jaguar dealership a load of cash for servicing, etc that I'm sure I could get cheaper elsewhere. Anyone recommend an independant garage in the west/central belt of Scotland that does servicing for Jags? Thanks in advance.

Best car with room to store a wheelchair
I am just able to store a wheelchair behind the passenger seat in my 3 door corsa. Our car has an electronic problem, which (surprise, surprise), doesn't seem to happen when we take it to the garage for them to look at it. The manager ( at the well known chain of garages) says they can do a diagnostics check and will charge £49 EVEN IF THEY DON'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG. How can they justify this?? Does this…
