auctionview/manneheim hammer time question
I'm wanting to know how much to expect to pay for a particular car at auction. Does anyone know if either of the above let you view prices of past auctions?

You pay what you feel is right. As there are so many of them about then 4000 should be enough, seeing as it has a few miles up it...0

£4000? They seem to be going for around £6500 on autotrader which is why I'd like to know how much of a difference there is, on average, with auctions.0

When I was looking at a car at auction (BCA near Tamworth), i rang up and asked what they thought the price might go at, he said about 8k, turns out the reserve was set at 8k ! On the day I got it under hammer for 7.2k, as a provisional sale that is then subject to the auction house calling the seller to see if they will let it go below the reserve price - they wouldnt so ended up paying 8k.
Worth a call to ask if there is a reserve or what it might go for ?0 -
I'd need to know which cars were available for auction for that though, it seems you can't get a catalogue without paying for a subscription first0

I wanted a fairly specific car so paid for a months subscription on Mannheim to see the catalogue. It was something like £20 from memory.0
