Nationwide have gone back on Interest only Mortgage agreement following my redundancy.
I spoke to the Nationwide about 5 weeks ago, when I was told by work that my job may be made redundant. The outcome of the talk with a trauma team person was that I would agree to go onto an interest only mortgage for the time being, if the worst happened. This was a big relief to me. Remortgage or roll with the variable rate?
My wife and I are looking to move in a couple of years, earlier if possible. We were going to move this summer, but when we found out she was pregnant figured her maternity pay wouldn't be ideal to upsize our house (and therefore mortgage). Before covid hit, the plan was to remortgage for a low rate for 2 years and then…

Offer but No Hard Search
As the title says really. Received mortgage offer from Bank of Ireland last Thursday morning, but no hard search showing on my credit file yet. Could this just be a lag in the data being updated?
