Hi - I know once you are offered an 'online no advice' mortgage the offer lasts 30 days.
Is it longer if you go through the branch?
Any idea how long the offer may stand?

Full mortgage offers last 6 months with hsbc. I assume the 30 days you are referencing is how long the decision in principle lasts before they have to re-credit check you0

I have a mortgage with them - applied to change the term online - was told I had 30 days to accept the offer... I wonder if it is different as it is a remortgage... change rather than new one?

a remortgage is when you change providers. A product transfer is when you redo your mortgage with the same provider. 30 days makes sense now then. If it expires you have to select a new one with whatever rates are available at the time.0

I plan to 'change the term' of my mortgage - so it is not a product transfer - would that make a difference? TY0
