Considering tracker mortgage
I'm looking to remortgage and it seems most people are going with fixed mortgages instead of trackers. But, I'm not keen to be tied in as I may move in the next couple of years. I'm considering the 2.1% APR HSBC lifetime tracker special. I realise that the interest rates are due to go up, but they'd have to go up more than…

Hi, I'd love some advice if anyone can help. How do banks value properties?
I have just called Halifax and asked them what rates we can swap to, they have just told me they have my house value as £116,000. Nationwide BMR Interest-Only
I've read on the forum a number of posts regarding when is the right time to switch from a mortgage on Nationwides BMR to a new fixed rate. Repayment or overpayment on Interest Only
If you have a repayment mortgage that costs £1000 a month is that any different to paying £1000 a month on an identical interest only mortgage? So that would include say £400 interest payment a month and £600 overpayment? Does one cost more over the term of the mortgage? The mortgages are identical in every way except one…
