First Time Mortgage

Options
Hello all,
I am looking for some advice as best to do, me and my husband have recently bought out first house, (sept 2013) we pooled all funds available and borrowed off family to buy the house outright, with no mortgage, because i only worked part time, and my husband is disabled we stood little to no chance of a decent mortgage.
however in doing this, it has left is a little too stretched.
I now have a full time job, earning a reasonable wage, however we are finding that most of our money is being taken by paying debts, and we should be at a point where we can save money now!

we are looking at taking out a mortgage to clear CC debts, and payback the family.
the property is worth £110k +, and we are looking at borrowing £45k to completely clear. Our joint income is around £24k pa.

any advice as to if this is likely to be possible, and what is this called? tried looking at Secured loans etc, was told we couldnt due to no primary lending??

any help is greatly appreciated
Charlotte

It's a remortgage of an unencumbered property.

Please bear in mind that some lenders will not consider you until you have owned the property for 12 months.

As ever, a broker is the best way to organise this.
