How do HSBC homeowner loans work

Asking here because the HSBC mortgage helpline couldn't help and advised telephone appointments have to be made for a specialist with the next available one being two weeks away!

Does anyone know the full details, such as interest rates and payment terms etc?

Unfortunately for an exact answer only HSBC can help. I feel your pain regarding having discussions with specialists. Everything is 2-4 weeks away. I tried to deal with HSBC/First Direct regarding a mortgage and it's a blinkin joke!! :mad:

2. Specifically, exclude us from providing
3. Do not provide themselves

HSBS will approach the application like any other request. Purpose, affordability etc in considering whether to offer or not and on what basis. The actual advance will consist of one of the mortgage products for which you are eligble.
