Endownment claim - opinions and advice please
Before we married (1989) DH & I bought a house (borrowed £16K) and were talked into taking an endowment. I was wary, but the advisor at the estate agents was so convincing we took an endowment for £20K (an extra little nest egg too we thought). Just less than two years later we sold the house, left the mortgage but kept…

Repayment confusion
I thought it was simple maths; a repayment mortgage of £100,000 £100,000 over 25 years = £4000 per year plus interest 1% = 1000 per year so total repayable would be: 1% - 5000/year £416/month 2% - 6000/year £500/month 3% - 7000/year £583/month 4% - 8000/year £666/month 5% - 9000/year £750/month 6% - 10,000/year £833/month…

Hi, If an overpayment is made to the old bank when remortgaging (as they haven't taken the final payment into account on the redemption statement), how long does it take for the bank to refund the overpayment. Principality mistake with my mortgage.
In September 2007 I fixed my mortgage of 120,000 at 6.35% for 3 years with the Pricipality B/S. My mortgage is in 7 parts as I have periodically extended, upgraded the property.
