How is intrest calcalated for equity release
If we were to get £20,000 in equity release how would the intrest add up. Is there a calculator somewere we could use. I suspect its (example) 5% 20,000 = 1000 total 21,000 after first year, then 5% on 21,000 for the second year and so on, is this correct, or is it 5% on 20,000 every year. Many thanks Russ

Unreasonable Mortgage Fees?
Hi, Please can someone advise me of a good organisation who might provide a mortgage for £350k for 3 months. The loan would be at no risk of not being paid back in full after the 3 months, it's just a cash flow issue. Do you think being charged £5k + 2% above base rate is unreasonable? Thanks, Tom
