Can anyone help on Endowment Miss selling?
Hi there. Maybe someone can help. Back in 1995 I took out a mortgage with a seperate endowment( endowment was £100 month approx). I paid this for about 15 months before my partner at the time and I split up and sold house. Neither of us could afford to take on the mortgage or endowment so they both just 'ended'. We were…

Early repayment fee
My bank (lender) has advised me that I will owe them £900 when I come to re-mortgage my flat via another lender. Apparently I have been tied to a 3 year agreement and will be forced to pay this penalty as I will be moving lender within the 3 year period. Any suggestions would be great. Regards Roy

calculating monthly interest rate from annual
So I'm projecting my mortgage repayments and equity in Excel. Say the mortgage rate is 6.5%. Would you say that the monthly interest rate is: simple division of annual rate: 0.065 / 12 OR: reversing the formula for a compound rate: ((1 + 0.065) ^ (1/12)) - 1 I note that the difference between these formulae is quite small,…

Moving from Offset Mortgage
Hi, Has anyone had any experience of moving from an offset mortgage? Obviously you need to change both mortgage and current account, but is it advisable to change one at a time or both at once? I've realised as I don't have huge savings I'm paying way over the odds and could get much better deals elsewhere! Many thanks
