managing to obtain a mortgage while on a DMP?
Sorry for going on about this in most of my threads but we are wanting to move house - and although it will only mean increasing the mortgage by approx £8k and the fact that we are already with a sub-prime lender (GMAC) - I am worried that we may have to forgot about this for a while!!
Thanks

You'd be unlikely to find anyone willing to give you a mortgage when you still have so much outstanding debt.poppy100 -
Hi,
I found somthing the other night that may or may not be of interest to you. There is a new Alliance and Leister account availiable, b4 You had to earn at least £1,500.00 per month guaranteed which as a self employed person I couldn't promise. The new account you only need to pay in £500.00 a month and it doesn't have to stay there. You still get a high interest rate on your in credit balance and a o% overdraft + you can apply for a 0% credit card. I may be telling you somthing which is totally useless to you as I don't know what a DMP is, however if you can get more of your owings onto 0% it may help.
Sorry if this info is useless to you,
CF0
