Missed Calls Services with O2 and Vodafone
Over the past few months I've noticed that both O2 and Vodafone have introduced a service to alert mobile users of missed calls when their phones are off, or out of service coverage. These services are not the same, and there's a sting in the tail for callers to O2 users with their service active. Vodafone Vodafone's…

'Cashback' on PAYG phones when you top up your credit
I've been able to use my Boots reward card on mobile phone top ups, they give 4% back I think. Plus, if you check out the special offer machines, then you might bet another 10% off - eg. 100 points off a £10 spend. I did that this weekend, and got 14% back in total.

cheapest possible mobile deal, no handset required?
I'm about to change jobs. My current employer does a friends-and-family deal whereby my other half gets a free phone and we are billed the corporate rate for calls. So her mobile bill is well cheap - £5 to £6 a month, if that. I think I'll be able to keep the handset when I quit. She's had it a year, at which point I think…
