Martin misses a downshift opportunity!
Are my eyes deceiving me, or did Martin really hand over 3 envelopes with First Class Large Letter stamps tonight? When I write to my bank, I always fold my letter and put it in an A5 or smaller envelope so I don't need a Large Letter stamp - and rarely is such a letter so important that it couldn't wait the extra day or…

No advice for people who can't get credit
I don't think people who have been bankrupt or who are having problems having had debt problems in the past are getting any advice from this programme. A lot of the advice given is for people who have good credit ratings (such as switching to other credit cards, cashback cards etc). There must surely be things that people…

Fabulous Guidance - Thanks Martin
Having followed Martin's sound advice, I have booked a Travel Lodge Hotel in Covent Garden for £29 on 3/1/09 and got two return tickets Crewe/Euston for £16 each - amazing - Thanks Martin. Now we will have even more to spend in the January sales!

Free Software?
I was hoping to see some info. on free software today, but it didn't appear. I then went into the It Pays To Watch website, and found a few old references to free software, also an ad for Microsoft Office, for students, very cheap for a while. Surprisingly, no mention of the excellent OpenOffice suite, very powerful,…

A gesture of support for MSE Martin Lewis
I notice that nobody has started a thread on this board, so thought I'd start one as not everyone gets to see all the threads on the forum, and may have missed the other support threads currently running... :money: Martin, in my opinion you are a true hero for everything you and your team do for all of us, long may you…

IPTW 9th October - wow, how stressed?
well, really, i watched most the episodes he's done but never seen him like this. Rather than you usual energetic, enthusiastic, chirpy self we see a Martin who (to me) appears completely stressed, downtrodden & lacking in a huge bout of confidence. This isn't a criticism, just something i noticed (as did alot of others i…
