Did I miss it, or did Martin not actually give the correct answer to the final question in the quiz this evening? The one about when does your credit rating become linked?

    My guess is answer C, when they open a joint account. Am I correct, can I have a golden pig please?:D

    Yes the answer was "joint account" and thats the only trigger - it also means that you can move in or marry someone with bad debt with out it impacting you - but you can't get joint mortgage or bank account.

    I did say all this at the time, yet sadly in trimming to get the programme to time, someone must have forgetten to leave the answer in

    Martin, if that is so could you explain why it is that when you apply for home insurance they ask you if anyone in your household has ever been bankrupt? I know this as I recently asked for a quote for my girlfriend and that was one of the questions. Thanks
