S&S ISA (selling American shares)
Hi there I have shares from a sharesave scheme in a S&S ISA. I am considering selling them and buying shares in a couple of British firms. Can I do this within the ISA wrapper and is there any tax problems (US or UK) I should look out for? (I think capital gains tax only kicks in if the sale is over £10k) Cheers Simon

H&s Isa
It says you need to invest at £3000 pounds. i don't want to put this into funds in a lump sum. Can I invest it as cash initially (Perhaps evern the full £3600) and then move it into funds when I deem fit. Is H&L still a good provider to go with?

Are cash ISA's worth the hassle ?
Hi All, I'm getting to thinking that cash ISA's are really a load of hassle, and not worth bothering with. Reason being, you open a top paying account of say 6%, then within a year, the next "Issue" comes around paying 6%, but your once top paying account now pays 4.5%. At this point, you need to complete a transfer, which…

HSBC e-ISA rate change
Inside word is that the rate of this product is going to be increased to make it one of the top-performers available. If my source is correct, it will be rising to 6.25% AER shortly. Obviously don't go for it before it's officially announced, as they can always change their minds before then. NB: I work for HSBC, but don't…
