isa transfer

hi can anyone tell me if there is any penities if an isa transfer take longer than the 30 days time limits.mine transfer has been 50 days +, they have taken it from my old isa manager but not showing it with them this seems a very long time??
it bothers me as i like to see my balance.

have you approached your new plan manager to ask why it's taking so long?

is it cash or stocks & shares? they maybe waiting for the cheque from your previous manager to clear before applying it your account, if its stocks & shares they might be waiting for all the stock to come over

as i understand it, the 30day thing is merely a guideline for the old plan manager to effect the transfer

i would contact your new plan manager and if needs be make a complaint if you deem it unreasonable
