Hi all I'm trying to work out which ISA to transfer this years £3k allowance into. I want to move it into a one year fixed rate account, without incurring any penalties for transferring the ISA for the following tax year, and have the interest paid when the isa ends next April. The best I can find so far is Nationwide at…

ISA transfer fails due to NI number mismatch
I set up the Fixed Rate ISA with LLoyds TSB in February and requested the transfer of an existing ISA from a building society. Receipt of the funds was rejected by TSB due to NI number mismatch 3 weeks ago. (TSB has the correct NI #). The BS has not replied to TSB since. Question: Is an ISA manager obliged to check the…

Privileged to be a customer.....
This year I decided to move my previous years ISA and open a new higher interest one to get the best out of my savings. Any better suggestions?
I've got reasonably specific criteria for a cash ISA for 2008/09 1) Monthly interest 2) Can transfer in previous funds Barclay's certainly pays more, but can't transfer in. So far the best I've seen is First Direct's mini cash e-ISA, which offers 6% fixed until March 2009. All better suggestions gratefully received

What happens to Mini ISA after 3 years?
Just wondering what happens to the amount invested in a Mini ISA after the 3 years period is up? Does it still earn interest at the tax free amount if the money's left in there?
