Deopsiting money during an ISA transfer?

I opened a Lloyds TSB ISA last week and they have sent a request to Yorkshire Building Society for the full balance. The YBS is a 30 day notice ISA so the transfer wont go through til mid/late April.
Can I add £3600 on Monday to my YBS ISA or should I wait for the funds to land in Lloyds and then add it? I dont want £3600 left sitting in YBS and im not sure if I can add to YBS at all during the 30 day notice period.
Or I could put it in Lloyds on Monday but I dont want that to affect the 6.5% fixed rate at £9k plus

I presume that if you pay it into Lloyds then you'll earn the lower rate until the rest of the funds arrive from YBSIn an Acapulco hotel:
