Life insurance proc fees
Hi, I've dealt with mortgages and various insurances over my working life but never been involved with Life insurance or Critical Illness. Does anyone know the procuration/commission levels on a policy which would be around £40 per month over 30 years? Somehow the thought of going through a comparison site and getting…

Breakdown Insurance
Beware of buying breakdown insurance through car insurance. I was sold European cover with the RAC through OneCall insurance. This looked cheap at £85. When I cancelled my insurance they did not warn me that I would also lose the RAC cover. The RAC do not consider you a member and so will do nothing for me.:(

We sold the car and we decided not to replace it, we live in London with frequent local buses and tubes, we travel free of charge, we used Uber for short trips, we rented a car whenever we needed to travel or we went by train. I didn't stop…

Over 50's life insurance or high interest account
Hi I'm 50 in January and was planning to open an over 50's life insurance account due to medical issues. But reading a few opinions aren't really that good. Both my partner & I, not married, we're considering opening a high interest long term savings account just for funeral costs. What would be the best option. We have no…

Should I buy travel insurance through tour operator?
I wouldn't normally ask this question as I know the answer is no, but this is slightly different. It's a 10 day escorted rail tour to Italy with a company called Rail Discoveries, staying in 4 different locations. They recommend their Specialist Rail Holiday Insurance and describe it as 'tailor made with rail holidays in…

Car insurance mid-policy charges
Hi Everyone, I'm after a bit of advice please. I have my car insurance with LV. Today, I used the online chat to let them know I've changed my address. I moved 60 seconds down the road from my old address (which is 60 seconds further away from the nearest town that could be considered remotely dodgy - it's a lovely area).…

Cheaper Life Insurance
Hi, I have been paying a joint life insurance policy that we took out when we got our mortgage. It is with Vitaity. I pay about £70 a mom that’s for both parties. Is this expensive? What should I be paying roughly? I don’t have a clue and when look at comparison sites you have to pay a fee. Tanks, regards Tracy
