I know at 70 I am supposed to roll over and let the younger generation take over the world exploration, but I feel I have a tadsworth of years left, and would like to fly to…

Bennetts
I had a motorbike insured with Bennetts. I sold the bike in July last year, and bought a new bike which I also insured with Bennetts. I never bothered cancelling the policy on the original bike because I thought they would try and reclaim the quidco cashback PLUS an admin fee. I paid £70 for the policy, and would have been…

Income protection - ensuring an incoming if you're made redundant
I work in the city and although I haven't directly been told that I'm going to be made redundant, belt tightening within the firm is starting and I am starting worry a little. My experience with Halifax Home Insurance

Our home was burgled in the end of January. I called Halifax the next day to report the burglary. Within 48 hours I got a call that a…

Car insurance renewal - cheeky whatsits!
I have had my car insurance renewal quote through today - £619, when I paid about £500 last year! The best quote I have had so far is £355 from the same insurer! I know plenty of people just pay their renewal quote, but the insurance company really has a cheek to say that is the best price they could find for me. Maybe…

Not sure if this is best posted here or on one of the property boards, but I'll try here first. Historical damage to car
Hello Does anyone know if you can claim for damage that must have occurred in the past? My husband noticed a slight dent at the bottom of one of the passenger doors. Is this a viable claim? Obviously depends on cost of repair compared to loss of no claims but just wondered if anyone else had had this happen to them? Cheers
