Crashed my car - need some advice!!
Hello! this morning at about 5.30am (early!!!) I crashed into 2 cars. I was driving down the road, and a car came up really fast behind me and dazzled me in the mirror. Because I couldn't see properly, I clipped a car, and this caught my wheel and I crashed into another car. My car was only worth about £700 and the work to…

Insurance for Violin worth £750
Hello all, :hello: I'm trying to find insurance for a violin worth £750. I've contacted a local broker who says that I could add it to my present household insurance as that would entitle me to "cover away from home" which is what it would fall under. However, I'm really looking for a separate policy as if there is a…

Can someone please tell me ??????
Can someone please tell me why it costs me £170 to insure a car worth £1200 a year (fully comp, Diamond insurance) and only £220 with same company to insure a potentially new car worth £15,000 ? Do they think you are more at risk because you have an old car ? Or is it a super bargain for the new car ? I am confused.

Hirehelp.co.uk and carcrash.co.uk
My car has had an accident where the other party is to blame. I've come across these 2 companies - https://www.helphire.co.uk and https://www.carcrash.co.uk who advertise themselves as being able to take the hassle out of dealing with non fault claims. Their selling points seem to be that they give you a courtesy car…

PruHealth health insurance: Free first aid kit
Has anyone joined Pruhealth? I received a quote in the post today, and thought it looked good because it gives 25%-100% off the following year's premium, if you have looked after yourself, by accumulating what they call Vitality Points. For a family of 5, I was quoted £76.14 a month, on the lowest cover, called Core Plan.…

Identity theft protection (merged)
I've just activated my A&L Premium Plus debit card, and got some hard sell about identity theft and how they offer a service to protect you. It's for the princely sum of £49.99 per year, and is described on https://www.protectmyidentity.co.uk. What do you reckon? Worth it? Or can I do pretty much the same for free?
