Switching from Hive to Nest
Hi there, I've had a Hive system for a few years but want to switch to Nest. I don't find the Hive system very reliable - both in terms of the app not reflecting what's happening in reality but also in terms of the Hive system not being smart enough to make sure the flat is heated to the right temperature when I wake up…

Hanging mirror and achieving correct hole drilling alignment
Hi, I have a large mirror 140cm x 126cm (31kg). There are 4 keyhole hooks in the back. I am confident I can align and drill the top two using a length of wood and spirit level but I can't imagine how to get the bottom two in the right place. It needs to be very accurate. Anyone had to do this before? Thanks MR

Low roof - loft conversion options
I'd like to convert the loft into a usable space but it's only 5'5" high. It's a thirties mid-terrace so quite wide and room for a staircase to go up. What are my potential options? Even though I can't stand up in it, I'd like to be able to sit and look out of it as I'd have a good view.

Removing paint from crevices in door frame
Hi, First time buyer here as of 2 weeks ago and I'm getting on with stripping paint from my doors and skirting in the line using a heat gun. I love it.
