Switching from Hive to Nest

Hi there,

I've had a Hive system for a few years but want to switch to Nest. I don't find the Hive system very reliable - both in terms of the app not reflecting what's happening in reality but also in terms of the Hive system not being smart enough to make sure the flat is heated to the right temperature when I wake up (i.e. as the weather changes from mild to cold I need to set the heating to come on earlier and earlier, with the Nest it's smart enough to do that itself).

I got the Hive professionally installed but since I just need to swap the wireless heatlinks things from Hive to Nest I think I should be able to do it myself - the only thing I'm not sure of is how the wires map from one to the other.

The Hive has N, L, Common, Heating Off (NC) and Heating On (NO).

The Nest has N, L, Call for Heat, Common and Satisfied.

I'm assuming N, L, and Common are the same on both, so I can just move the wires from one to the other.

Does anyone know whether Heating On or Heating Off is call for heat/Satisfied? I assume Heating On = call for heat and Heating off = satisfied, but wanted to check with someone who knows for sure!

I did email and ring Nest to ask them but they weren't very useful and just kept repeating what the manual says.

If you are using a standard backplate it should be a straight swap.
