How much heat is lost through a door?
I have an exterior wooden door 31.5 inches by 80 inches by 1.75 inches thick. It has 10 glass panels each 4 inches by 39.5 inches. The glass is obscured and has wire mesh imbedded in it. How much heat is lost through it compared to a PVC door with double glazed glass panels?

Hello, I have had a quote of £16k to build our extension. its the first quote from this builder, but the builder was very friendly with excellent references and so far he has been the best all round. Front Door Intercom/Video?
Hey all, hope you're well, My front door at home has no peephole and there's no easy way to know who's rang the doorbell without opening the door. Even if there was a peephole, we also have a stormporch which is slightly angled, so I don't expect we'd be able to see much in any case. I was hoping to install an intercom…

LED Dimmer Switch - recommendations please!
I'm going to have dimmable LED lights in my kitchen/diner - a mixture of E27 and GU10 downlights and I need a 4 gang dimmer switch to control them. ItaliaLiving sofas
Hi, I have recently been to Bentalls in Kingston to look at sofas. One brand "ItaliaLiving" drew my attention. Not sure yet whether I really want to spend this much on a sofa, but 2 things worried me. First,…
