Pivot shower door refuses to stay closed!

Hi All,

My shower door is a pivot type and will not remain closed. The waterseal looks fine and I cannot see anything obvious which could cause it to ping open so do any of you have any suggestions/tips?
I don't know the actual make but it is very similar in appearance to a New Era Pivot Door Shower Enclosure type. Thanks.

I had the same problem, because when I fitted it, I didn't realise that it pivoted on a cam arrangement. I should have fitted it so that the resting point was on the bath, but I didn't, so the door would swing open all the time, to take up its position as fitted. Bit of a pig to correct, unfortunately.
  • Firstly, is the door new,if not how old? Is the magnetic strip in the right way round?
