Has anyone used this product? How good is it please . need to paint my walls but they have hairline cracks and other bigger cracks so wondering if this would be a good solution.

Cracks in a wall can be raked out, filled with a powder filler such as Easi-fill and then sanded before painting. Very fine cracks can just be painted over, assuming there is no ongoing movement. Ordinary emulsion will fill fine cracks. Ceilings are more of a problem as joists move.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0

Line it instead (minimum 1200 grade), hide the seams then paint.

I've used it and it covered hairline cracks and 'crazing' on my ceiling really well.0

What kind of texture does it have? The issue with ceiling cracks is movement that can open up cracks after filling with the usual fillers, although it might take months, or not occur until a monkey bounces around in the loft.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0 -

What would you suggest for ceiling cracks that wouldn't simply open up again?0 -

As Keystone indicates, lining paper. However ... my old ceilings were lined, and you do find that when cracks appear, the paper comes loose, and sags, so you see a broad ridge. Then you use a sharp knife, cut down the middle of the ridge, and glue it back. But with time the paper shrinks, and a gap opens between the two sides, so you paint ... Nightmare.
My new sitting room ceiling now has three long cracks, two of which I have filled. :mad:Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0
