Anti Stain Insurance?
I'm going to be buying a new sofa, chair and footstool from DFS this weekend, after making enquiries they mentioned an anti-stain treatment and insurance. They treat the fabric so that if anything spills it doesn't soak in and sits on otp so it can be wiped away, sort of a waterproofing resin. It's quite pricey, but…

Plastering costs
Can anyone tell me how a plasterer quotes for a job ie: is it per sq metre and if so what is the average cost? We have recently ripped the original wall and floor tiles off in our ensuite and a lot of the original plasterboard came off too and needs replaced so we now need a plasterer to skim over the new plasterboard.
