Does anyone know if B&Q still offer pensioner discounts & if so how do you get it? ( I seem to remember 10% on Wednesday afternoons). My mum is hoping to start a project ...with me doing the donkey work and I hoped I could save her a few quid.

I'm sure they still do it. I had a look on thier website but can't find any details there so I guess you will need to ask / apply in store.0

yes they do :j on a wednesday 10% but on in the superstores not the warehouses - as they are supposed to be cheaper.
You need a card for the discount and to get one you will have to take ID. Can't remember if you get it instantly so it may be worthwhile going in B4 weds to sort it out.
Hope this helps0 -

Hi, I work for B&Q and the discount still applies.
10% on a Wednesday, this is available in all stores, you need some proof of date of birth, driving licence, passport etc. You will get your card straight away. Some restictions apply, not for use on kitchens, bathrooms, conservatories, installations, gift vouchers, think thats it.
Really depends on who serves you as Ive put orders through before for bathrooms.

Yes they do. AND in the warehouses.
They ran the scheme up to the 25th January when it was supposed to stop, they had such a good response that they have continued the scheme.
I took my mother who has to walk with a stick and within 10 minutes "she" had bought two radiators and a petrol brushcutter!
I used my DO IT card to pay and there were no questions.0 -
Oh and it's all day Wednesday i think0

Anyone know if it is for 'pensioners' or 'old age pensioners' ? My wife is retired and draws a company pension but is only 35! I spend loads at B&Q and could well do with the discount.Light blue touchpaper and stand well back !0
