loo - leaking cistern
The cistern in my loo has what I assume is an overflow pipe for when the water level gets too high. I have a problem with it - it goes out of the bottom of the cistern and just stops - any overflow water goes all over the floor. So - where should this be plumbed into? Also, the reason it is dripping water is the cistern is…

How to light a wood-burning / coal stove?
Hi everyone, I recently moved into a house that has a lovely ceramic stove - the only problem is we can't get the thing lit! Does anyone have any experience of replacing built-in electric hobs, or any info about induction hobs, apart from you need a certain type of pan?

we are having a shower/toilet put in our new extension & I am toying with the idea of having a wetroom style shower area, so no nasty shower screen to try & keep clean - the aquadec system would be imbedded underneath the new concrete floor & then tiled on top - no shower tray or screen - its guaranteed for so many years…
