£55.93 worth of shopping for £4.89
Just had to post this. I visited my local co-op this moring and as always had a look at the yellow stickered reduced items. I think some-one has over-ordered on the meat section, anticipating BBQ weather which just hasn't happened up here in the wilds of Moray. I bought £55.93 worth of burgers, chicken, mince and Ciabatta…

Thanks to this site...
... I now have an extra £130-150 per month in my bank. I'm not in debt but not rolling in it either, and by tweaking my outgoings here and there such as shopping more sensibly and being more careful with energy and phone usage, I now have this extra money which works out at about £200 per month pay increase. I can't…

WOW, that was EASY!
I just wanted to say Thanks Martin! I am a fan of your slot on Jeremy Vines show and now use your site as a first port of call for 'best' financial companies practises. Generally we are very good with money and avoid debts, but (after paying for a recent car repair bill of £1000) our credit card debt has gotten a bit scary…

Anyway, I trawled MSE and read Martin's recommendation for Europ Assistance thru…

Got all my bank charges back!!
Thanks for this site Martin. I followed your link a few weeks ago to the Bank Action Group site, they have all the documents and help you need to sue the banks for bank charges returned, although none seem to get as far as court. I got £620 back last week, I wrote 2 letters and sent a court application and that was it.…
