Hiya All!!! If it weren't for my work colleague who has introduced me into this wonderful site, I would still be(until now) be spending money like water and not actually thinking of money saving. Since the start of this month, I have managed to save £45. this doen't include the money which I have earnt from selling my old stuff at our local carboot sale... My OH is now also more sensible on his spending and has been actually saving which was a complete opposite of his attitude 4 years ago. To start with, Our wdding last year was a moneysavingexpert wedding as we have tried to save in everything for our wedding...from dress to food and keepsakes....Moneysaving and labor of love put together and we ahad a fatastic day. From then on, although I can think of the other times that we have managed to save, but honestly, we did and we have saved a great deal of money which we have put into our retirement plans...We are not onto that retirement age yet, but there you go...we are now actually thinking of the future...we have also started a college fund for our daughter as we didn't want her to be in debt when she finishes college....We still have a long way to go to be debt free, but I can actually say...we are not doing to bad...we have set our goals to be debt free by 2009 and hopefully, i should be able to tell you all guys that I have succeeded... Thanks to everyone and to Marrtin for bring this wonderful site to everyone....
