Just had to post this. I visited my local co-op this moring and as always had a look at the yellow stickered reduced items. I think some-one has over-ordered on the meat section, anticipating BBQ weather which just hasn't happened up here in the wilds of Moray.
I bought £55.93 worth of burgers, chicken, mince and Ciabatta bread for an incredible £4.89.All stuff that we use and my big freezer is now bursting at the seams! Having 5 children, this is fantastic. The huge discounts come because a lot of the products were on BOGOF. So they started at £2.99 each. They were stickered at 75p, so if you buy 2, the stciker price is £1.50, but then the till knocks off £2.99 for the BOGOF, so they end up owing you £1.49!
