Check In to Rented Property Q
LA has asked if we want to attend an inventory clerk check-in the day before our Tenancy is due to start. Is it best to walk round with them? Or better to wait for keys and then take pics, record anything subsequently noticed that is wrong or not noted on the inventory, then signing and sending back to LA? .

Back in 2008, I purchased 25% shares in a shared ownership 1 bedroom flat in my sole name with total market value of £140K at the price of £35K. If I'm renting a property (long-term), can I rent out a room to help?
Basically what the title suggests. I've found a nice house in Lancaster, with 3 bedrooms. I personally only need 2, but will I able to rent out the 3rd room? I just see people paying £100p/wk for renting out the room. I'm just unsure if I'm within my rights to do that? Cheers, Cam

Pitfalls and Benefits: House Vs Flat (Help needed!)
I can't quite silence the voice that is saying I would be a mug to buy a flat over a house. Are you for houses or flats? When I started looking at properties last May, I only considered houses but I have now seen a flat (in a converted warehouse) that I like very much. Light, airy, tall ceilings, all the room I could want…
