Is that a manhole right in front of the house? Do you think that would be a problem? Can you drive over it ok?

Thanks Japmis. Gah, I thought it looked overpriced. It has taken them 8 months to drop the price 1.25%. They're never going to accept a realistic offer, are they?!

Yeh dropping 5k is pretty pathetic!!! What are similar properties going for? Have you spoken with the EA?

Nope - have just had a purchase fall through, so am just starting to look around again.

You're right though - it probably is worth a chat to the EA. The prices occasionally go over £400k in that estate (variety of house and plot sizes). A vendor recently had to drop to £325k when they wanted a quick sale, which is more my kind of range.

is the one that is £325 already sold as it looks really nice. The photos arent fab - I would have taken more of the clutter out but you can see beyond that

Yep, I would have jumped at that one, except for one reason - it has a fairly short back garden that a) faces north and b) is bordered by very large trees. I need my sun!

Im guessing they are not deseperate to sell....since they have only lowered it 5k after being so long on the market.

Its a really nice house but I'd be looking elsewhere if you want a bargin..always worth a shot though.

Japmis, how did you get your information. I have Rightmove plus that kind of information is not on there.
*Edit* Never mind, I just googled property bee. Looks like I will have to install firefox :-)
