Tenant problem at end of contract

All other management issues are dealt with by me. 2 months before the end of the 6 month term the tenants were asked if they wanted to renew and…

seller keeps marketing but doesnt want to sell!!
Why would someone keep their house on the market with 2 agents, but when you try to view it they say the vender has decided not to sell? Wouldnt they remove it from sale? What would be their reasons to leave it up for sale and with 2 agents?

Worth buying an ex shared ownership flat ?
Hi Everyone, A one bedroom flat has come up for sale at an extremely good price within a development of shared ownership flats. They'll be selling this particular as normal (not on a shard ownership scheme), as it was repossessed from the previous tenants (who had it on the shard ownership scheme). I'd really like to snap…

Shared ownership
My OH and I are considering shared ownership. I have received the info pack today and I am trying to get my head around the staircasing and whether it is actually a good idea in the long term. The house we are interested in is limited to 80% ownership. So we would buy the 50% share at 85k. rent is 195 p/m on the other 50%.…

My conveyancer got back to me today to say that NHBC, Zurich or 'the other one' (can't remember the name) haven't got the property registered with a 10 year building guarantee. It was built by a small developer, a total of 14 flats and 2 shops. There was…

Council Tax: Payments over 10 Months
I've just had a horrible conversation with my local council, after I requested to pay my council tax over 12 monthly payments rather than the 10 standard. I was told this was "the law/part of legislation" and even though they let me pay via 12 monthly payments last year they won't this year. I wondered if anyone else had…
