Negligent Surveyors
16 months ago I purchased an older property, had a homebuyers report which mentioned one or two points of little concern but no mention of the electrical system. I now find that the wiring is so old it is downright dangerous. Have I any comeback on the surveyor who prepared the report? Thanks

Building survey-waste of money?
:confused: If I am getting a full building survey done, will the surveyor not test the electrics, gas, plumbing, heating etc. The house is 60 years old. So I am concerned about this. Do I have to get a specialist to do these after I've paid the surveyor. What is your openion about homebuyers survey

Deed of covenant - to whom vested?????
Hi - I have had a number of questions from my buyers solicitors about the deed of covenants on my house. It's a relative new build (1987) by MacLean Homes. Question is (a) State in whom the benefit of the covenants is now vested and what land is benefitted I have absolutely no idea?!!! Can I just put unknown?
