2wks till I move and new BT number is ringing. Can I broadband?

I rang to arrange installation of BT at my new property (moving house, but a different exchange, so new number, effectively a new account). I don't move in for 2weeks and arrange the installation date for the date of moving in, however just ringing my new number, it's already ringing.
Can I go ahead and order my broadband for it now so it will be ready when I move in?

Hi, yep should not be a problem dependant on your ISP. I use Plusnet and advised them 2 weeks prior to move that I wanted the new line broadband enabled.
They tied in with BT to make sure it all happened.

You may have a problem with AOL. It took me 6 weeks to sort mine out and I only transferred my line from NTL to BT, not moving house.0
