Getting rid of black jeans dye smell
Does anyoe have any tips that work for getting rid of that awful smell you get in black jeans? I've had several pairs that have had the same smell, normal washing doesn't seem to get rid and it seems to get stronger when they get warm during wear. Is there anything else that anyone else has found that will work?

How/where to sell a wig?
Hi, A few years ago my mum bought a wig from Selfridges, but she never got round to wear it and now her hair is almost white and she won't wear it. I would like to sell it but not sure where or how, I've tried ebay but no luck. It's a very good quality wig, it cost > £300 and it's completely new , so I'm sure someone could…

Awesome repair balm/eczema treatment
I have just discovered this amazing product and have to share! http://www.laroche-posay.com/products-treatments/Cicaplast/CICAPLAST-BAUME-B5-p5636.aspx It was recommended to me by a local pharmacy when I went in about my little girl's eczema. Previously we've used Epaderm and other emollients, often bandaged onto her skin…

Anyone care to settle an argument?! OH uses Sensodyne obsessively (always had very sensitive teeth) and finds it very effective. I was dispatched to shop tonight to "buy toothpaste" and have committed a huge sin and bought Colgate Sensitive Something Or Other. It was on offer.....that was my only defence. :p She has now…

Denplan Care - how much are lab fees?
Hello, I was thinking of going private and joining 'Denplan Care' because I don't feel that my NHS dentist is taking much interest! It looks good. For a fixed monthly sum, everything is included... ...except lab fees, where required (e.g. crowns). There's no indication of what they might be. Does anyone have any experience…

which product to give volume/texture to layered hair?
Hi all, I've just had my hair cut and had a short layer put in, sides feathered etc. I love it, my hair feels loads lighter and it has way more movement than the way it was before (shoulder length, one long layer, and straightened all the time). My hair is not naturally straight, its sort of wavy. Which product should I be…

query re: costs of private dental treatment
I'm hoping that some of the helpful dentists that visit the forum can help with a query. I recently went to the dentist and was told I need two fillings (gutted!). I was advised that I could have them done on the NHS or privately. On the NHS they'd be done for the band 2 fee and would be silver amalgam fillings. If I opted…
