bamboo blinds
guys, have you ever tried bamboo blinds? I've had bamboo roll up shades for about 1 years and I love them. I am really trying hard to remember to take a cloth bag with me when I go shopping but the thing is before I would use the plastic bags as bin liners. If I were to buy plastic bin liners I am defeating the object of not using plastic bags. What do other people use? I would be interested to know.

Standby Buttons on Household appliances
I've been having a discussion about standby buttons, personally I always turn things off, saves money naturally, but I'm also now more aware then ever of the energy use and damage to the earth from our lifestyles. Views seem to be mixed about the amount of money saved but as a total in the UK i bet the amount of money and…

It should be simple surely, but I've been trying for 2 hours now and still can't get it to work. What I have done is this - one end of hosepipe submerged in bath water - rest of hose up over…
