bamboo blinds

guys, have you ever tried bamboo blinds? I've had bamboo roll up shades for about 1 years and I love them. They last and last and I just take them outside twice a year and dust them and then wipe them off with a damp cloth. what's more important, it makes my house cool and i think it's relatively much more enviromental! i bought them here, but if you are interested in, you can find some near your residences.

Are they any good at keeping the sunlight out? My curtains let through too much light so I was thinking of putting up some bamboo blinds inside the window frame.

the only thing is people can see you walking around when you have your light-on.

had to point this out to hubby - one night when i came home (he was walking around starkers!!)
