We are dedicated Lidl shoppers both for…

Bell Peppers
We eat A LOT of peppers, use them in almost every meal but noticed the sizes are getting smaller in the packs of 3 and to get the bigger peppers (which is the size they used to once be) stores are charging more. Trying to budget what we spend on food every month, have cut out a lot of waste so far but I wondered if anyone…

I love their spicy chicken burgers but they also don't even have their normal regular cheapo iceland chicken burgers in.. they was excellent value at £2 a pop. Anyone know why? and if they are coming back? EU supplier issue?

Now Tesco have the same under their "Creamfields" brand. And also the Frozen milk lce lollies (85p) at Aldi, are now also at Tesco under the "Ms Mollys" brand at the same…

As someone who has lived in east central London for almost 20 years I have discovered tons of Asian supermarkets, I have spent a lot of time researching all the spices and seeds, nuts available in them and there asian names - a good few of these Asian supermarkets have as much food items & in some cases possibly more than…

Worms in supermarket vacuum packed Fish: probably very common
When I was a kid, my parents used to cook everything well-done. I became a bit more sophisticated with rare meats and sushi, but I realised this lunchtime that I was forgetting a few important things when I discovered a live worm coiled up on my vacuum or gas pre-packed fresh cod fillets  It was exactly like this one…

Do you want a receipt? Yes I need to check.
It's understandable that supermarkets and us seek to minimise waste and environmental impact. Thermally printed receipts are not particularly environmentally friendly. However, about one in five of my transactions are scanned incorrectly. Sainsbury's smaller stores are especially poor, as are most Coops, and need to be…

I quote: We found a pack of 300 cotton buds for 55p in the baby aisle at Tesco. The buds look and feel the same as the pack of 200 that cost £1.50…
