Bubble Bath?
Does everyone here use bubble bath? We were buying Imperial Leather which we found very thick but strangely required a fair amount to make a good bath. We picked up some Radox because it was on offer (£1), find it very runny but only requires a little bit to make a lovely bath! (Surely it should be the other way…

Went to Sainsburys yesterday after seeing on Martin's email that there was a special offer on Indian food. Any 2 main meals plus 1 'starter' for a £5, lots of choices. Got to the till and saw the girl charged me the full whack, left it at that, but went for an explanation from CS. CS went to see for himself and came back…

Have others noticed that some of these products have shot up in price considerably!! Tuna doubled in a year! Tin tomatoes nearly doubled. Skimmed milk shot up. Some stores have less of fruit n veg value bag range. Is it that the commodity price has risen, stores copy each other and squeeze more out of us or they are…

Tonight's TONIGHT
Just watched the programme tonight and I think ML is seriously losing the plot. Why waste time with that family of rich wasters who can plainly afford anything when you could be helping real people save real money. Would you be offended to go into a 'low pay" house? The sight of that smug bloke looking at ML, plainly…

Downshifting bad for your health ?
The latest buzz seems to be downshifting, yes you can save hundreds of pounds per year, but no one seems to mention the health implications. Ive noticed especially the cheaper cereals contain more salt and sugar compaped to the branded items. Does this apply across the board in value items ?

Sommerfield bought by CO-OP
I find Sommerfield (handy though) more expensive (except for deals) for most items. I have never shopped @ a Co-Op Supermarket (but have convenience Co-Op's around) and wondered if their prices are as keen as The big three?

Hellmann's Fat Free Vinaigrette dressing was 59p......Now £1.29!
I love this stuff on my salads, but just seen it in Morrison's for £1.29 (i think it was). I used to buy it for 59p! I've made do with getting the Morrison's vinagrette dressing today - but ideally would still like to get the Hellmann's one. Does anyone know if it's still 59p or similar anywhere else?
