Tesco Frost flakes better than Frosties!
I'm sure there's somewhere I should have put this, although I couldn't find it... Tesco Frosted flakes are bigger and don't go soggy as quick as Frosties, plus they're only £1.12 for 500g! I made the discovery last night :) so....What other cereals are better in the cheaper version? So far we've only tried Tesco weetabix…

Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Ready Meals half price
I didn't have time to look at the whole range but noticed Chili Con Carne and Liver and Bacon with mashed potatoes for £1.54 each. Ample serving for one. Also large Easter eggs (creme egg/flake/smarties etc) on BOGOF so £2 for two.

Half price Easter Eggs at Tesco
Evening folks, Nipped into Tesco tonight and got a Galaxy easter egg for £2.29, which was half price. Even full price this was still less than Asda. They also had Mars, Crunchie etc. Hope this helps someone. f_f

Canadian Lobsters for a Fiver !
Apparently on Monday (30th) Lidl will be selling whole lobsters at £5 as part of a Gourmet promotion. Usual cost around £30 in a restaurant, £15 at a fishmonger. 99p Stores not as cheap as they appear
Has anyone apart from me bothered to compare prices at these shops with local supermarkets? I just visited my local 99p Store and Sainsburys next door. At 99p, Colgate toothpaste, Comfort ironing water and Fairy Liquid were just three products that are all around 10p more expensive than in the supermarket! Great business…
