Hello! Just a quick message here, as I don't have time to recount the full details. (That would probably take me a full day in itself!) I'm wondering if any of you readers have any experiences of Scottish Power's so called Boiler Care? I'm growing increasingly frustrated on behalf of my poor Mum who's been covered with…

Catch 22 for Energy Club
How do I sign up for Energy Club when I don't currently have any utility suppliers? We live on a narrowboat but will be moving to a land address in Wales later this year and want to get the best deal. If there is a thread for this, apologies, but there are sooo many!!

NPower
Thank you to all who have welcomed me to the website! A short (ish) question really about the electric energy supplied to me by NPower. My Limited Company had been removed from the Companies House Register and ceased to trade, in fact, never traded at all. It was internet based as it was home-based too. I have received a…

I changed my energy supplier last year and they saved me nearly £200. My question is that the same supplier is now offering me to lock into a new 2 year deal to fix the price in case the costs of energy goes up. So does anybody have a clue as to which way prices are going towards over the next 2 years and if so roughly by…

Better Energy - no contact
On a gas-only fixed 2-year contract. Anyone else receiving no requests for meter readings and no quarterly statement? My fourth statement is overdue. They have failed to produce two of the previous three until I phoned and prompted them. Last time, after my prompting, the statement was nearly a month late but was for the…

HELP! Cannot contact Coop Energy for emergency
My electric meter exploded yesterday afternoon, it has big gash, the front literally melted with smoke coming out of it! Tonik Energy positively Green v.8
Be aware if changing to this supplier that the date your 1 year fixed rate begins is the date you apply to change and not the date your current contract expires. I'm only getting 11 months with this supplier.

EDF wont give us a smart meter...
Hi, We moved house in November and brought our existing energy deal with us (as it was the cheapest through the energy saving club :) ), but EDF firstly said that the smart meter might not be compatible with our house (?) the next excuse was they didn't have enough smart meters, then they are not installing them locally at…

Energy Switch Fail
So I joined the collective fix via MSE to switch duel fuel to Octopus Energy on 4 February 2018. I've just been in touch with them via their twitter feed to find out why I've not had a welcome pack yet. My application has errored - it seemed to think I wasn't a domestic supply. Anyway the customer services team are all…

EDF Crazy Estimates
Are EDF Bill estimates correct? Currently £80 Per Month for dual fuel, but they estimate yearly cost as £20,000! How in earth can a 3 bed room house with no heating outside of Nov-March with Solar Panels have that kind of estimate? Also, it seems on every bill they refund a certain amount of money, for some strange reason.
